Jaw, orthognathic & genioplasty cases · paid case review, not a directory
Right now it's a handful of reviews and a name that keeps coming up in a Facebook group. We build a structured case file from your case and match you to surgeons on case volume and outcomes data, not who has the most before/afters online.
Free to start. You only see a price after we've reviewed your case.
What patients say about choosing a surgeon right now
"Finding a surgeon is an excruciating process. All you can go by is a few random reviews online, when there are any... it's a gamble but the whole process is excruciating, and so hard to know who to trust."
"I feel like choosing a surgeon is scarier than the surgery itself."
A commenter on a commonly-recommended surgeon: "I could barely find his before/afters online" — despite being a name that keeps coming up.
A patient with a "great-reviewed" surgeon found the reviews were about wisdom teeth extractions, "completely useless" for judging jaw-surgery competence.
Sourced from r/jawsurgery threads. Not a hypothetical problem.
Medical tourism directories already list jaw surgery abroad. They just aren't ranking on the thing that actually matters.
The largest directories rank surgeons on patient demand, review score, response speed and how often a clinic updates its profile. None of that tells you whether a surgeon is right for a case like yours.
A five-star rating from wisdom-tooth patients tells you nothing about jaw-surgery outcomes. Star ratings get pooled across every procedure a clinic offers.
The largest patient review platform in this space has public complaints that listed clinics pay to be featured and negative reviews get suppressed. The incentive runs the wrong way.
A forum-hyped choice can go badly wrong: one widely-discussed abroad surgeon left a patient with a fistula, misplaced implants, jaw instability and lost facial sensation, an extended stay in-country, and repeat out-of-pocket costs for corrective surgery. This isn't rare enough to ignore.
Real questions, not a generic form. This is what we'll actually use to match you.
Founding case review $299, which goes up to $650 once we're past the first 25 cases. Nothing is charged now, we quote you after reviewing your answers above.
Independent patient advocates doing bounded research tasks like "build a short list of specialists" typically charge $100-500/hour or a flat fee around $650 for the engagement. Concierge second-opinion services like PinnacleCare start online second opinions at $750. Full medical-tourism facilitators charge $1,500-5,000, but that fee also covers travel booking, translation and in-country logistics, none of which we do. $650 is our target full price for the matching-and-case-file work alone, once we're off founding pricing.
Because a generic quote based on nothing is worthless, and we'd rather ask up front than waste your time with a form that pretends to be simple and then emails you ten more questions anyway. Everything above is what we actually use to match you.
Building a real case file and matching it against surgeon outcomes data is actual work per case, done by a person, not an automated ranking. A free version would either be worthless (a generic list you could Google yourself) or lose money on every case. We'd rather charge honestly for real work than dress up a directory as "free."
No percentage of your procedure cost. Surgeons who accept a matched case pay us a flat fee for that introduction, not a cut of what you pay them. That keeps our incentive on matching you well, not on steering you toward whoever pays the most.
We tell you directly and you're not charged anything. We're starting with double-jaw, single-jaw, genioplasty and craniofacial cases across the US, Europe and Asia. If that's not your situation, better to hear it upfront than after you've paid.
No. We build your case file and match you to surgeons based on data. We don't diagnose, treat, or give clinical opinions. Every medical decision, including which surgeon to ultimately choose, stays yours, made with the surgeon directly.
Used only to build your case file and match you to surgeons. Not sold, not shared beyond the surgeons you're matched to, and deleted on request.
